You can request deletion of your Get It Done account and its data at any time. Here is exactly how to ask, what we remove, and how long it takes.
How to Request Deletion
Email Us
Send an email to aladdin@devino.ca from the email address associated with your Get It Done account, with the subject line "Delete my account". No other information is needed — the sending address identifies your account.
Confirmation
We will confirm the request by replying to your email before deleting anything, and again once the deletion is complete.
Guest Workspaces
If you used Get It Done without creating an account, your guest workspace is not tied to an email address. Contact us from any address with the workspace details and we will remove it.
What Is Deleted
Your Account
Your user profile — name, email address, and sign-in credentials (including linked Google sign-in) — is permanently deleted.
Your Content
Tasks, subtasks, comments, notes, attachments, daily plans, and time-tracking entries you created are permanently deleted. Workspaces you own are deleted; content you contributed to workspaces owned by others is disassociated from your identity.
Notifications & Devices
Your notification inbox history and any registered push-notification device tokens are permanently deleted.
What May Be Kept
Analytics
If you accepted analytics, your analytics events are linked to your user ID. They are not removed automatically when your account is deleted; ask us and we will delete them with your account.
Session Replays
If you accepted analytics, session replays recorded in the web app are linked to your user ID, and PostHog can also link to it replays recorded on our marketing website in the same browser, including ones recorded before you signed in. They are not removed automatically when your account is deleted: they are kept for up to five years in PostHog and 90 days in Sentry, unless you ask us to delete them with your account.
Legal & Billing Records
Records we are legally required to keep (for example billing or tax records, if you had a paid subscription) are retained only as long as the law requires.
Timeline
Within 30 Days
Account deletion requests are completed within 30 days of confirmation. Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged on the backup rotation schedule, within a further 90 days.
