Run GetItDone wherever you work
Install GetItDone on your phone or desktop in three taps, connect it to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor over MCP, and see which store builds are on the way.
Install it on this device
GetItDone installs straight from the browser — no store, no download, no separate account. Three taps and it has its own icon and its own window.

Use it from your AI tools
GetItDone runs a remote MCP server, so an assistant is a first-class user of your board rather than something bolted to the side of it.
- The remote MCP server exposes 11 tools — 6 that read and 5 that write — and each one names the API scope a key must hold before it appears at all. Sourcechecked 2026-09-18
- Assistants get the task’s actual content — rich-text notes, image attachments and frames extracted from uploaded videos — not a link they cannot open. Sourcechecked 2026-09-18
- The same gid_ key also authenticates the public REST API and the TypeScript SDK, so an assistant and a script share one credential. Sourcechecked 2026-09-18

Questions
- Is GetItDone on the App Store or Google Play?
- Not yet. The iPhone and Android builds have not gone live, so this page shows them as coming soon rather than linking somewhere that does not resolve. The Chrome extension is the one store listing that is live. Installing the web app takes about three taps and gives you the same product with its own icon and its own window.
- What exactly gets installed?
- GetItDone itself, as a standalone app window with its own icon. It is the same account, the same board and the same data as the browser — nothing to migrate, and signing in once is enough.
- Does the installed app work without a connection?
- No. Offline editing is not supported yet — a change needs a connection to save, in the installed app the same as on the site. It would need a service worker, which GetItDone does not ship today, and it is listed as planned on the changelog.
- What does the browser extension do?
- It turns whatever is in front of you — a page, a selection, a screenshot — into a task without leaving the tab. It is available on the Chrome Web Store, with the Edge build to follow.
- Can my AI assistant use my tasks?
- Yes. GetItDone runs a remote MCP server that any client speaking Streamable HTTP can connect to with a Bearer key, exposing 11 tools across reading and writing tasks. Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor all connect this way.
