Printable daily planner generator
Choose a date, the hours your day runs and 30- or 60-minute blocks, write your top 3 for the day, and the generator lays out a one-page planner: your top 3, a time-blocked schedule, a to-do list and notes. Print it, or pick Save as PDF in the print dialog to get a PDF. The planner is built from the form itself, so it also works without JavaScript, and the address of a filled-in planner can be bookmarked.

How to make a printable daily planner
- Choose the day and your hours. Pick the date, when your day starts and ends, and whether the schedule is in 30- or 60-minute blocks.
- Write your top 3. The three things that would make the day a success. Leave them blank to write them by hand.
- Make the planner. Press Make planner and check the sheet below the form.
- Print it or save it as a PDF. Press Print. To get a PDF, choose Save as PDF (or Microsoft Print to PDF) as the printer in the print dialog.
Questions
- How do I save the planner as a PDF?
- Press “Print or save as PDF”, then choose Save as PDF as the destination (in Chrome and Edge), the PDF button (in Safari on a Mac) or Microsoft Print to PDF (on Windows). The planner prints on one page, Letter or A4.
- What is time blocking?
- Giving each part of the day a job before it starts: 9 to 11 for the report, 11 to 11:30 for email. The schedule column is a grid of blocks for exactly that, in 30- or 60-minute steps.
- Why a top 3 and not a longer list?
- Three is a number you can actually finish in a day alongside meetings and interruptions. The to-do list holds everything else; the top 3 says what makes the day a success.
- Can I make a planner for a different day each time?
- Yes. Change the date and press Make planner. Leave the date empty for an undated sheet you can photocopy and fill in by hand.
